Maternal & Child Health Center of Excellence
About Us
The UCLA Center of Excellence in Maternal and Child Health is one of 13 programs across the nation funded by the Health Resources & Services Administration's Maternal & Child Health Bureau to foster the growth of the next generation of leaders in the MCH field. The UCLA Center of Excellence in Maternal and Child Health is home to the Child & Family Health training program, a graduate level program that provides interdisciplinary training using population health and life course health development frameworks to prepare our fellows to assume leadership roles in the field of maternal, child, and family health. The Center of Excellence is also home to the Epidemiology Fellowship, a doctoral level program which provides an Epidemiology focus in addition to MCH training. The learning and leadership opportunities our program offers increase capacity for high quality, comprehensive care of MCH population.
